Hi Jim, thanks for taking a look and for the comment.

I found the number dispenser in a friends basement over the weekend and could not resist :-)
This week is generating some fun entries and best of luck with yours.

Excellent concept and execution. If I were to critique anything about this, I'd like to see the hand displayed a little more prominently (lit up more and placed closer to the ticket)...but all in all, I really like the shot and caption. Good luck!

Thanks Tom, Greg & Jon for your kind words and comments. There are a 'number' of details I would have done differently, but time was limited as this was a location walk-through for a future shoot with a person (my friend's 81 year old Russian born mother and former proprietor of the now shuttered space) and honestly, numbers were the last thing on my mind until stumbling across the dispenser in the basement.
FYI, it was shot with a 5D3 and 16-35 2.8, hand held, iso 2500, shutter 50 av 3.5 and very reluctantly converted to grayscale CS5 because the bright red of the dispenser overpowered everything.
Thanks for looking and good luck to all,

Staklo
