I was wondering anyone has used Imported or Grey market Canon 600EX-RT flash? How is the quality, function...etc... compared to the USA version?

I don't know. That's why i'm asking if anyone has any experience in using Grey market flash. If they are the same, it's wonderful as i can get it at a cheaper price than USA version.

I think the only difference is you don't get the USA warranty

I haven't bought a " Genuine" Camera, lens or flash in at least 10 years. I buy everything from a gray market importer and never had a single problem.

They all come from the same factory so there is no difference and canon have always honored the warranties here as I believe they should.

They made the damn thing, why should whowever sold it influence their manufacturing quality guarantee?

^^ that's my understanding. if you don't care about the warranty then just get the cheapest price

Jut got "grey" 600EX-RT. So far it works excellent. I hope it will stay that way.
