I just got a new lens , the Nikon 300mm f/4E PF. So, went to test it out today with the 1.4 TC.

It is much smaller and lighter than my previous 300mm, always nice to go lighter .

As always your nits, crits and suggestions are much appreciate.

Great shots with the new lens, especially of the Scaups...seems like it handles the TC pretty well too.

The ring bills stand out for me lots of detail-- tip of the bill to tip if the feet New lens is looking good

Ah, there is nothing quite as exciting as unboxing and trying out a new lens...and when you get results like this the smiles must come in droves....no buyer's remorse for you! These all have a soft delicate feel to them.
