Two spelunkers pause for reflection in an abandoned Japanese naval base consisting of artificial caves along the rocky coast of Jeju, South Korea. The caves were built using forced labor during the Japanese occupation of the island, and were used as hideouts for mini-submarines of the Japanese Imperial Fleet.
