Hello everyone,

First time forum user...

I've asked this question on one of the other forums but I would like an opportunity to ask here as well.

Is there anyone who is using and fairly familiar with Sekonic l-478d who could help me? I'm new to light meters and I am only learning how to use one now... anyways here is the question.

Lets say I set f stop to 11 and ISO to 800 and measure the light it will give me reading of 15 and then a smaller size 2 right next to it...

I purposely tested it in a low light situation to see how it works, the thing is I don't understand the numbers it is giving me. Is this 15 supposed to be full 15 seconds or 1/15 of a second shutter speed? And what does the small number 2 mean?

?1">

I get other readouts like 2 and a small 7 next to it or 8 and a small 3 next to it...

EDIT: I figured it out... These guys are way too precise with these things...

Per the manual...

Shutter speed is displayed in the following way.
30m (30 minutes), 8s (8 seconds), 125 (1/125 of a second)

Guessing the 2 represents 2/10 stop over 1/15 second.
