One of the beautiful things about birds having little to no fear of humans, is the ability to compose a shot in wide angle, and capture something truly unique without relying on camera traps or remotes. This was on the island known as Isla Isabel, off the coast of Nayarit Mexico. The island hosts breeding colonies of: Magnificent Frigatebird, Red-billed Tropicbirds, Blue-footed Boobies, Brown Boobies, Brewster's Boobies, Red-footed Boobies, Heerman's Gull, and various terns. This was one of a few of my favorite shots, though I need to revisit it in post a little bit.
