Interior of the Riverside church. three shot stitch with shift. Alpa swa.15 second at F16. I first shot this scene using my little Ricoh GR and has always wanted to come back with a proper shift camera and a tripod.

The people who work there are so friendly to photographers! They volunteered to clear out from the altar so I could get a clean shot. Luckily not many people inside on a Wednesday afternoon.

Still new at posting here. Could anyone give me some tips on how to make the image look sharp on this website? The image looks razor sharp on my PC, optimized at 2000px on the long edge. but it looks smuggy once uploaded.

It's fine on other websites. any tips please?

This is awesome. This is a shot I'm going to try to recreate myself now. Stunning.

What glass and back on the SWA? The clarity and focus across the pews and across the entire image are exceptional. Did you blend exposures as well?

Thanks glowrider.

I used the 47mm xl schneider lens. It has a 110 degree image circle which allowed a 25mm shift at max. had to calibrate the shift when i rotate the camera for the three shots.

no blend exposures. use F16 or above to capture the depth of field. then some retouching after photomerge.

Would you mind sharing a little bit about your Alpa setup? They intrigue me and I'm curious to know how you've pieced it all together.
