So I'm likely going to be using this functionality quite a bit this spring and have found the in camera functionality to be a hassle. (also... I'm going to be shooting lightning while in a vehicle, often -- I don't want to stand outside in it)

I need something that will allow me to set exposures > 30 sec in bulb mode and also be able to provide intervalometer functionality. (this is the primary functionality I need)

It would be nice if this also worked with a d600/750 as I'll probably use that as a second body for timelapse.

So far it seems this tool does the trick http://www.amazon.com/Phottix-Wireless-Timer-Shutter-Release/dp/B006JPV1C6/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1422221945&sr=8-7&keywords=d800+intervalometer+wireless#customerReviews

But I was wondering if any of you were using any other solutions you would suggest. Especially if they're cheaper than this.

Thanks

I don't own one myself, but the Triggertrap looks like a good, and reasonably priced, solution.
