Thank you. That was the biggest Alligator I have seen to date - and also one of the biggest Turtle I have seen in Florida. It took several hours for him to crunch it to that stage.

It was painful to watch (Jan 9th 2015) the fate of the poor Turtle - "The law of the jungle"

Thank you all for your kind feedback. Here is a shot to show the enormous size of that Alligator

More action than one might want to see, but well-captured
(and great title!)

The alligator cuts through that turtle shell like its butter. Nice captures.

Appreciate your kind words.

Even with >15K newtons of brutal jaw power, it was not an easy one - it took atleast halfday to crunch it to that shape.
Here is an example on how much effort put beyond the JAW:

I went to Florida to shoot some gators but rarely even saw them move let alone do what you captured. Very cool stuff. The pics themselves seem highly saturated. A little too much for my taste.

Thank you Dan - yes, I pushed the saturation bit high while doing the single tone HDR through NIK to some 3D feel. I need to spend bit more time to do the selective process than the global one.

Based on what I noticed last year June, you can see plenty of gators in the Anhinga trail and some of the off-road areas in the Everglades. But this one is the biggest I have come across so far. I saw another smaller one in the green Key area too 9th.
