I have next week off and found some incredibly cheap flights to New Orleans. Looking at the map there are several NWRs in the area along with other refuges. Does anyone have any recommendations for places to explore in the area?

I like this area near Thibodaux and south past Houma near hwy 57. Lots to see and places to wander.
