p.1 #1 · p.1 #1 · The dry and foggy California

California seems not able to get out of the awful drought. In addition to the dryness, the dangerous fog for the motorists.
I don't live in the valley where the fog is notoriously dense. But one day last week, the fog crept up to 3000+ elevation to catch up with me, where I live, which is rare. This is my back yard!

Thanks for watching and please pray for the rain to come back to California!

Hey Bob,

I like #1 quite a bit, a nice foggy scene there. In #2, clone out the bit of branch poking in on the upper right and on #4 clone out the larger branch on the upper left and those will look really nice too.

Love the foggy images. Great texture in the trees.

These all have great atmosphere, but I'm with Jim, time to break out the pruners...
Of the series, I like the comp and color of the forth, the upper left branches aren't so bad, but a bit more open space might make it even better...

Yep. Great images.

I'm also a big believer in that if something isn't adding to the image, it's detracting from the image. And those loose branches barely in frame pull your focus away from the main subject of the cool tree(s) in the fog.

Clone stamp is your friend. (Well, he's definitely my friend). Use it wisely!

Has any one noticed that the first image is the only one that I turned to B&W? Would you like to see it in colors? or would you like the other 3 in B&W?
