While visiting Hawaii on business, I had a little time off and hiked through a Laysan Albatross nesting area....huge birds with 6+ foot wingspans. They are threated by introduced species in Hawaii like rats and cats, since they evolved with no real predators, they and their eggs are extremely vulnerable.
