Without a co-sponsor it won't be heard this session any more than his last version did during the last session. It's all a "feel-good" publicity scam by a legislator with a demonstrated anti-environment stand. An anathema to the man whose name he misappropriated for the bill.

There are a bunch of things wrong with the PetaPixel post, it claims that the bill was introduced into this (114th) session, and is currently in committee. But the Bill number 5893 is from the 113th session, and bills not approved in one session have to be reintroduced in the next session.

If you look at the date, the bill was introduced on the very last day of the 113rd Congress, Jan 2. the 114th Congress started Jan 3, 2015.

The PixelPost article is just another "lets pile on" attempt to get more positive publicity for a congressman whose anti-environment stand is well documented, and in whose face Ansel Adams would spit if Adams knew Stockham appropriated his name for the bill.
