Today was a great day taking pictures along with Canada Jim of the Northen Pygmy Owl. We had good weather about +5 C and this little guy was very active he caught three voles in the time I was there and two in about twenty minutes. I"d appreciate any tips and comments on this. Dan

Great set Dan. That is a big vole for such a little guy. Did he swallow that thing whole?

Great seeing you today. Nice captures of the tiny owl. It was tricky with the light and the branches, but you were ale to capture some beauties.

These are O.K. I'd love to give you tips but first you have to bring me along on one of your shoots, and guarantee good light and warm weather (What's with +5 in Alberta in mid Jan.? Or are you just heating the entire province with all that surplus oil?) !!

WOW awesome captures #3 for me also I am not sure i have seen one of these little guys in the wild posted here before his pray is as big as he is

and to eat three in a day wow he might not eat again for a week lol
