At 38 m the duck was hopelessly far away, but since hunters had scared off most of the ducks they hadn't shot there wasn't a lot going on. The file was cropped about 50% and then upscaled to 130%. As a result, detail on the bird is fairly poor. The light was nice, though.

A harbor seal, in contrast, came well within range so the outing wasn't a total bust.

I would not have guessed the first is a crop Christian. The second is well done. Interesting that we both posted harbor seals
