I'm looking at these two light kits. It will be used in studio for Newborns and portraits.

The Impact kit comes with much better stands - I have three, they're built like tanks, very heavy, and pretty much as sturdy as you can get short of century stands. Also, the Impact looks like it's a bit brighter - six 27-32 watt lamps per stand vs five 27 watt lamps per stand. However, the Wescott octaboxes are 2.5" longer, which probably isn't enough to make a noticeable difference but is worth noting. I have no idea of the quality of the lamp heads. I'd probably go for the Impacts, with an extension boom type thing for getting at least one octabox low to the ground or high overhead or wherever else you need it. I put this on the lightstand: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/838888-REG/Impact_kcp200b_Grip_Head_for_Lights.html to hold this arm http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/850446-REG/Impact_kcp_240b_40_Extension_Grip_Arm.html which you could then use to hold this peg http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/824434-REG/impact_srp_110_6_0_pin_with_collar.html which the octabox head could screw onto. The cost savings vs the Wescott almost cover this extra purchase, and it'd give you a lot more versatility with how you can position the light. I use two of that exact same rig with two of the same lightstands as that kit.
