I am undecided as to the merits of this image. Deep black, shiny subjects are difficult, in that there is little or no contrast to show the details. I don't think lightening them to grey is acceptable. I have converted this to monochrome, the colours of the background being very subdued anyway.
These were several mm long and very active, running along horizontal twigs and over small rocks, pausing only for a second or two at most.
