Taken at Lock & Dam 14 on Christmas day. Fishing Eagles are my favorite pose! Talons out, tail down, death from above. The adult Eagles almost NEVER miss the fish, the juveniles catch rate is no where close to the adults.

Amazing what 10 minutes a little sun will do for the water color.

Stretch it out!

Thanks again for the nice comments. I truly feel this forum has made me a better photographer. Wasn't sure I had thick enough skin the first couple post! Larry, Ted, Herb, Tony.,,, and Especially Conrad (post processing tutorial) all helped keep me going and improving.

Nice Fishing series, i hope to get back out to the "pond" this January or February. the Money shot is the best, i also like the last one where the wings are pushed forward during lift off from the water. Glad you got both and the ones in between.
