Those of you who have a D750 do you find the location of the multi-sector dial in an awkward location? I feel that by comparison to my D4, D3s, D3 bodies that I have to contort my thumb backwards and down to reach it. It is really not in a comfortable location like the pro bodies. Anyone who has shot an entire wedding with the D750 find this location causing you thumb cramps?

Coming from canon, all of the Nikon ones are awkward. Why do they put a proper joystick on the grips and not on the bodies?!

its not going to be like a pro body because it is not a pro body. The 7-- series is made to be smaller.
with that said after a few weeks use I can adapt to just about anything

It does seem like it would be much better if it was placed higher and to the left a bit, but there's obviously no room to do this with its design. I've stopped trying to work it with the end of my thumb and now I just use the part which naturally falls over it (the pad of my thumb near the joint).

It did feel a bit weird at first, and I kept hitting the ok button by mistake, but it's getting smoother and actually requires very little movement back/forth and up/down.

I can see where if you try to use the tip of your thumb for hours on end, it might cause cramping.

Yeah, I've got to rethink this, it feels really awkward.

I just picked up a D750, coming next week. On the fence on whether to pick up a second or a D810 with the proceeds from selling a D4.

Hopefully adjusting to D4s/D750 instead of D4/D4 will be easy enough.

what wheez said, though the confort of the d750 is exaclty its compactness and light weight, carrying a heavier body is more awkward to me. That is probably one of tho reasons which made me get this camera
