I thought the same...and posted a thread....and it got zero responses. Looks like we're the only 2 who dig it.

Sorry I missed your thread and started another one on the same subject.

But cool little light.

I missed that one too. Nice little light...feeling some temptation mainly because of it's very small size

Seems like a money wasting gimmick. Not saying I'm not a sucker but still....

Looks like an incredible product, but doesn't really solve any problems for me I don't think.

Yeah, video guys would probably get more use out it. Although I could see some value for table detail shots and/or ring shots.

I think these could potentially be useful for hiding behind things to add a kicker to ambient light.

They'd get extra points if they could change color IMO

I looked at the kickstarter page from the first thread about this. My thought was that a cube is really the wrong shape. For most people, something flat or more easily shoved in a bag would be more useful.

I'm sure it would be effective, but like Hoff said, not sure it solves any existing problem for me either.

I use only video lights for my ring shots - which are typically around thirty seconds exposure time - so that I can "play with" the video light during the exposure for creative effects.
