We did Budapest to Amsterdam in Nov. These were shot through the glass in our hotel. Harsh sunlight for sure.

Royal Place

Chain bridge.

Shooting through glass into harsh light is a tough assignment. Pretty good job here. I am not seeing anything I could improve.

+1 @ Ben ... except maybe post a bit larger, so we can see better. 350 tall is kinda small.

I agree. First looks clean. No telltale signs of the glass, reflections. Verticals look great. Nice capture.
Second appears tilted up to the right. Sky, color, detail look good. I think a bit more sky might be nice, but first correct the tilt, see what you have.

Updated the Chain Bridge sizing on the short side and added a little more sky....Scott I moved the right side up a little , but found too much, and the shore line and the hill looked all wrong. Thanks again to everyone for the encouraging reviews..

I still find the tilt problematic. Looks like water flowing up to the right (of the image)
Not sure why no one else has commented on this. Maybe I am missing something?

The eddy by the pier makes me thing the water is flowing to the left. Anyway, I look at the buildings which now appear tilted counter clockwise.

Agree that the tilt is distracting.... nice composition otherwise.
Right side needs to be tilted down a little bit - use the leveling/crop tool along one of the verticals or along one of the building roofs to get it a bit closer

And yeah, well done to avoid glass reflections and such.

+1 @ 3rd time better rotation.

A bit unconventional matting possibility, in lieu of losing the cropped space on rotation. Imo, the verticals / horizontals of the buildings are key for selecting rotation. Note the black roof horizontal @ ULC, the steeple center and the red steeple RHS. Maybe could use about .2 degree more clockwise to straighten the bridge verticals a bit more.

Karen could probably work wonders at extending the URC sky and LLC water to facilitate the rotation without a crop loss ... but I'm not nearly as versed at such matters.

I'd rotate it a little more, using the tower in the background as the touchstone for what is correctly vertical. Maybe some minor skew work to ensure the buildings on the left are straight. Minor tweaks.
