p.1 #1 · p.1 #1 · Horseshoe Bend

This become a must visit spot for my antelope Canyon Trip. I am aware there are tons of images have been post in this exact location or exact frame. but like watchman in Zion, I will take every chance I am there to take at least one image each time

The day is so so in terms of sky, no cloud. Direct strong sun ray hit on the Canyon. I feel the images is hard to process with huge dynamic range to deal with. I took a few for later HDR blend in mind, but decide to choose a single shot here for the first one. 14-24 is pretty good on flare. A little angle change make big difference. At the time of shooting(Nov), the sun spot went to too far to the left corner, at different season it might be better.

I think the first one is nice... a fairly typical good HSB shot.

It's one of those locations that's incredible to see in person (similar to Bryce, IMO), but it's near impossible to take a unique or interesting shot that hasn't been posted a million times before.

Nice! But as you pointed out, the sun is way off to the left. I guess i'd have to scrap my plans for shooting the sunset there.

Nice tonalities. #3 gets my vote.

I prefer #1, you worked in sunburst nicely.

Sasha.

No.2 for me because I don't like the cropped off foreground you need to include at this location if you want to get the entire bend into the frame. Need to rappel over the edge a little to get the mind blowing shot.

Chez, I totally agree. I will see if I got some shots like that. I haven't gone through all my images yet. It would be pitty if I miss it I am not afraid of height and went pretty close that wife calling me stop
