Taken with my 85L portrait lens and extension tubes. I had the sky as the backdrop and pointed the camera into the sky and exposed correctly for the flower and blew out the background, I like this approach as it gives a botanical drawing feel to the image .. this also simplified the scene as all the highlight detail was lost in the sky. You have to be brave and shoot into the light and blow those highlights.
