I photographed a local tournament on Saturday. I've been following these kids for about five years. I know that heavy processing generally gets poor reviews here, but I felt like doing something a little different. All comments welcome and appreciated. Mark

I really like it! IMHO the "heavy processing" here really adds to the drama of the overall scene, and turns what would otherwise be a boring gymnasium into something that looks more like a fighting arena. If I was one of those competitors, I'd buy prints and have them framed!

Not a critique, but since you did all the extra work in post, I wonder how it would look like if you cleaned up a little bit of the additional noise in the background? Then again, the grain kinda adds to the scene as well.

I think these are great. Heavily processed or otherwise, they're well done, and compelling.
