That's a powerful sight indeed and I like the shutter speed. I'm sorry for your camera and lens travails and hope you can replace them soon.

Phil

Really like this image. You captured a lot of action in the water, as well as great color.

I have missed seeing your images, and hope you are able to get your gear situation remedied soon.

I like the dynamic, but will prefer a crop to leave out left bottom corner

Lovely scene and composition!

Good luck getting your equipment replaced. I know what it is like being on a tight budget for photography expenses...

It was pretty dangerous, these waves convince you pretty easy who is in charge...
:-)
Thank you Gordon!

Hi Andrey,

What a powerful shot. One you should consider to convert to B&W also.

Sorry to hear about you losing your camera. My D700 went swimming unsuccessfully 4 or 5 years ago. It was heart breaking. The D700 was a camera that was always up to task for capturing the landscape around me. I did have a D7000 at that time for a backup, but it was far cry from shooting fullframe with the D700. So I know it's gut wrenching, and heart breaking. But I learned from it and I am more conscious of my positions in the water, and for me, I had been using 2 cameras shooting (1 wide and 1 long). But ever since that day, I just stink to 1 camera when I am shooting at the beach. If I had been on that day, my D700 would not have gotten drowned. So I learned a lesson. A sad and costly lesson.

On a positive note... it's a great time to switch to the D800e or the D810...

Jim

At least i am not alone :-), i hear you about D810, i seriously considered it, but it much more expensive than Sony alpha R, or Canon 6D, which i've lost, so i am hoping, till i gather the funds, either Canon come with something new, or i come up with enough courage to go for Sony...
anyway here is a BW version:

Hey Andrey,

I really like the B&W version. Not trying to be biased since I shoot Nikon, but honestly Sony is a much better option I would say than Canon. But no matter what, I do hope you are able to come up with a replacement soon. Maybe look at a used older version for now to get your hands on something you can shoot with. The D700 used is an awesome deal...
