Hello,

i would like to have a website for my nightscape photos and blog,
and i am looking for the most suitable photo hosting website.

I would like to use my own domain name (i already have one)
and so far i took a close look at Zenfolio.
I am not a pro photographer, i just do nightscapes as a hobby, so
i don't need printing services, or lots of Gb's of storage.

Are there any good alternatives to Zenfolio?
$60/year is a bit expensive for my needs.

Kind regards,
Evangelos

Flickr. Dunno about using your own domain name though.

Squarespace.com but it will cost a small amount. Very powerful website building but really simple to use.

Squarespace seems to be more expensive than zenfolio.
Also, using my domain is critical for me.

500px is having their BF sale. $54 for awesome membership and you can use your own domain for your portfolio.
Try that.

You could always go with a host like Godaddy and run Wordpress with a gallery plug-in. It's a fair amount cheaper and gives you a lot more options.

That's how I do it.

Alternatively, if you already own a domain, but no hosting agreement, you can direct your domain to a wordpress.com blog. Free and easy.

My vote: squarespace... very, very powerful application. Clean lines, excellent templates for those with no coding experience.
