If it must be 1:1 and manual focus, then as Phillip says there are not a lot of options. Here are the one's I know about:

Zeiss 100 f/2.8 in Contax/Yashica mount: This is an excellent macro lens. It is big and heavy, however.
Pentax A series 100 f/2.8: A very nice lens and smaller. May be a very good choice for your purposes.
Kiron 105 f/2.8, which comes in many names including Vivitar & Lester Dine.
Komine 90 f/2.8, usually labelled Vivitar and sometime labelled Elicar.

I don't know much about the latter two other than that they exist. If you can handle the size and the price ($750 or so), then I don't think you will be disappointed with the Zeiss. If you can handle the focus direction of the Pentax and the price (perhaps a little less than the Zeiss but not much), then you might appreciate the size of the Pentax. One thing to be warned about this lens is that some complain about the short focus throw--it is only 180 degrees which isn't a lot for a 1:1 macro. And if you don't like those prices then think about the Kiron or Komine made lenses.

Thanks for your help. It looks there are 2 options:
1. Tokina 100mm Nikon mount: 1:1 and aperture ring on lense, cheaper and relative small
2. C/Y 100mm: 1:1 but expensive and big

I am very familiar with C/Y. I still have 2 leitaxed C/Y lenses. I opt to Tokina because of price and size.

For IQ and color, is C/Y much better than Tokina?

Tokina is insanely sharp.I haven't got C/Y MP 100/2.8,but basing on experience with my other 17 C/Y Zeiss lenses and 11 Z lenses,(Makro Planar 100/2 included),I would dare to say that Tokina should be sharper overall than the C/Y Planar and can serve as a general purpose tele..Sharpness-wise it is comparable if not equall to 100/2 MP,(though with poorer microcontrast),and better than all other 90-105 macro lenses that I have/had.

However,Contax colours are nicer, crisper and more vivid.Tokina tends sometimes to give bluish cast, which I don't like.

Schneider-Kreuznach 90mm f/4 APO-Symmar Makro PQS

By the way, "a" is singular, but "lenses" is plural

Thanks, if I can find a deal for C/Y 100mm, I may consider it. Otherwise I will go for Tokina 100mm for Nikon. Luckily I have Nikon to E adpater. J

Depends.
I love the Vivitar Series 1 90mm f/2,5 more.
The Vivitar has one f-stop setting where the iris blades have a saw tooth form, the Tokina many more.
With my sawblade (AE type) Contax 85/1.4 I made one nice images which I afterwards have to throw away because of the blur form.

Some say the Tokina has the better coating and so less better stray light.

The Tokina shows saw teeth at f/4 and f/5 it is gone by f/5.6, so many more = 1
The Vivitar is also more bulky

I use all f-stops, even the half ones, I think some of the lenses still show it a bit at f/5.6. So I think it is more like f/2.8, f/4.0, f4.8 and f/5.6?

There is no half stop between f/2.5 and f/4 on the Tokina, is there one on the Vivitar?
I don't see anything at f/5.6 and it is much less noticeable at f/5 than at f/4.

I really should finish my review of it, it has been nearly finished forever.

sorry but no.

the OM 90 is a lot better (especially w.r.t. flare suppression) and the Leica 100APO is even better than that.

source: I own all 3.

I have both the Tokina 90/2.5 and the C/Y 100/2.8 and I like the Contax a lot more for landscapes because of the color rendering and microcontrast. The Tokina seems to have better resolution but to me it's rather boring for landscapes.
