Value seems to be there, 10GB file size, newly unlimited storage limit, $70 a year with MS office 365. The uploading is a bit hokey though, but seems like a decent bang for the buck for lightroom catalog backups and photo/video storage.

Amazon seems interesting too, but only photo uploading for now?

Any thoughts

What's so hokey about the uploading?

I've considered it for the same reason .
Was looking at getting o365 anyway as we need to upgrade as a family (5 machine price is good)

Got the trial to see if I could use one drive to upload my raw files and the initial thoughts are positive .

So far I've tried it like this:

Created the 'one drive' folder on an external drive and then pointed LR at it . I then moved a few of my image folders into that folder .
Upload speed was pretty good . I'm on a bt infinity deal and get about 8meg upload and it seemed to use a good chunk of that . (I'lol probably migrate a few folders each night before bed so I can let it do its thing over night) .

I'm also going to point my LR backups to a folder in one drive so I can have those backup there also .

It's not going to be a replacement for my main backup . But it could serve a purpose

Ami Pro was all I ever needed. Now I use Open Office for my very occasional needs, and save the money that would go to M$. I have a brand spanking new 4TB WD Mybook that is kept offsite for backup.
