p.1 #1 · p.1 #1 · x100t shipping from Amazon 13 November. Flash?

...at least that's what they tell me, and my September 10th pre-order allows me to be near enough the front to get it the next day. Looking forward to it. Now it's time to sign up for the Capture One trial. (already have PhotoNinja...) I hear Iridient is Mac-only. Rats.

How are photographers firing external flash with an x100-whatever? Never saw any reference to a PC-connection. (I date myself.) Will the hot shoe fire my Buff transmitter? An Odin (Phottix)? Sure, I know it will be rare, but I have to ask. This is where OVF is fun.

Yes I have optical slaves as an alternative -- with a Fuji approved speedlight in the hotshor -- like the little Nissan that is coming soon.

According to the X100T manual at the Fujifilm site, there is no PC connector.

Rats, Jim. You just had to look at the manual. Now there wont be a page and a half of speculation and antidotes.

Edit - I mean anecdotes. Darn spell check.

I've always just used the built-in flash to fire optical slaves

you can use most any radio trigger in the hotshoe. just make sure the camera is set to "external flash on". this was a quirk of the original x100 and i think the x100t is the same. the hotshoe doesn't fire unless you specifically set it to!

If a Fuji flash is in the shoe, you do not have to tell the camera to fire the external flash.

That's not true. Both the X-Pro 1 and the X-T1 have a PC connector.

oops, you're totally correct! sorry for posting wrong info
I never used a pc-sync flash when I had an X-Pro1 so I never noticed it.

You can buy things to sit in your flash shoe with pc connections. Your flash just sits on top of that. I bought one on flashzebra for about $ 15 or so. They're made in India, but they seem to be very well made. I got one to connect my Nikon SB 22s flash to my Rolleiflex camera and it works fine.
