I'm wondering is it possible to load regular 135mm film into a APS film roll holder? I know it's an odd topic but I'm wondering if anyone has any information on loading bulk 135mm film into APS film rolls to be used in APS cameras. That would allow a lot more freedom in using APS cameras which are nice and cheap.

135 film is larger than APS film.

No, for various reasons.

APS cartridges are not reloadable. They are intended as permanent storage for processed negatives as well as being a regular film cartridges.

35mm film is also significantly larger in dimensions than APS

And there's not really any APS camera worth buying. They're cheap because the vast majority were junk, and the couple that weren't aren't any cheaper than better 35mm cameras which cost similar money.

Also good luck getting it processed anywhere, APS requires special machinery to handle.

And the issue of sprocket perforations would be insurmountable, too. APS had some welcome concepts, but was fussy.

The image quality with the higher ISO films was second-rate, and so for various reasons the whole execution of APS ended up being a detour to precisely nowhere.

No APS film for sale at B&H. At all. Zero.

Wow, it is truly dead. The end. Any APS camera you have is just junk.

I think that Contax had some really good compact 35mm cameras also, like the G2?
It may be impossible to get repairs for the camera or the meter though.

The Contax G2 is a rangefinder-auto-focus interchangeable lens camera with a zooming viewfinder. Known for its excellent lenses.

Probably a lot more practical to use a digital Sony NEX or an Olympus PEN or something like that.
