Again, contrast and toning here. The whites seem a bit washed out and the blacks a tad light. In #1..I am distracted by the top being cut off. What is #1 of? Do you have a full shot just for my info?
More to work on. That is not a bad thing!

The head was deliberately not captured...to show the faceless identity of soldiers. Soldiers gone off to war and died. They are part of the causality of war. They have no identity or a face. Contrast with the film shots They are more like flares from shooting a 50 year-old 6x6 camera.... Not much to work on other than shooting digital.....

BTW, the only way get better contrast is to use Xtol instead of HC110. HC110 tends to give off a glow in the highlight. Whereas Xtol gives off a better tonality in the mid tone. And of course, shorter development time down to 10 to 11m. I have the tendency to use N+1 even during evening shot.
