I am curious what programs/methods are being employed by Canon shooters to achieve optimum focus with their camera lens combinations. I currently have a 5DMKIII and have a 7DMKII coming any day and use it with the 500 F4IS Version I with and without the 1.4 TC and would like to fine tune all my camera /lens combinations for the sharpest results with least amount of fuss

regards
Dave

Try the free Dot Tune first: https://www.fredmiranda.com/forum/topic/1187247/0

Reikan Focal may also be of interest:

In either case, be sure to understand proper methodology in order to ensure accurate and repeatable results.

A search for MA or micro-adjustment will give lots of results.
