Another alternative is to pick up a Rokinon 12mm f/2. Jordan's tests on the Sony A6000, and others on the Fuji X cameras, show it to be a really high quality performer. Sure, it's not as sharp to the corners, it doesn't have OIS, and there's no autofocus... but it makes a little more sense to carry alongside your 18-55, it has a remarkable f/2 aperture (for the focal length), and it's relatively small and cheap.
The Rokinon 12 is sharper than the 10-24 across the whole frame. It has slightly soft corners, but so does the 10-24, but the 10-24 isn't as sharp as the Rokinon at any point. That said, the 10-24 is still a very nice UWA zoom. It is still quite sharp across the majority of the frame, with a dip at the edges and corners. Nice imaging characteristics overall. It's a lot more convenient for varied shooting than the primes, but the Fuji 14 and Rokinon 12 are still both better optically. For most shooting, though, you won't notice much of a difference. I have the 10-24 and 14 for Fuji. I will probably end up selling the 14mm eventually, even though it's the better lens optically (and probably the best wide angle I've ever owned). I just enjoy having compositional flexibility with a UWA, and it's hard to justify keeping both. It helps eliminate a lot of lens changes in the field. I have the Rokinon 12mm for Sony, which is a great performer.
