I have 3 of the Yongnuo yn560 III and they are fantastic.. I tried the 850 and it lasted about a month, would not turn on, I wanted to the control the power from the camera is why I tried it and the Yongnuo YN560-TX was not around yet.. It is now and works as well as the strobes..

I bought one of the 850's and didn't like it. The recycle speed was slower than the 560 with eneloops and the 850's gave me like half the amount of flashes before it overheated than the 560's. I just don't get why the 850's are so popular when the 560's outperform them in every way that matters.

I have no experience with the Neewer TT850, but I do have the Yongnuo 560 II. Solid, well-built, and dependable workhorse. Like all the Yongnuo products that I have used.

One thing to consider, though, is the remote triggering system. Youngnuo has three remote trigger/control systems.

The 560 III seems to be part of the YN RF 603/602 line of triggers. No ETTL (completely irrelevant for many kinds of photography).

The YN 622 family can trigger most flashes (including the YN 560 series), but requires TTL flashes for remote manual control (even if you are not using the ETTL feature). Yongnuo's 565 fulfills this requirement at around $100.

The third system is actually a full clone of Canon's own radio system. This only works with Canon's own 600EXRT, which is around $500, or Yongnuo's YN 600EXRT, which is about $170.

All three systems offer dedicated transmitter/controllers.
