Probably not what you were thinking.

I like the comp and exposure here, good play on words.

Yes, good title.
Well-composed. It all fits together so nicely in the frame. Nicely done, Kent.
The only areas I see for improvement are the gravel road and the vegetation. The road is less an issue, but on this (crappy) monitor the tones in the vegetation look muddied with lack of detail. I probably shouldnt write until I see this on a better monitor, but... Oh, well. Maybe some local dodge/burn to separate the bushes from each other more and perhaps a bit of localized work playing with the conversion over these areas?

Loving this shot, Kent!

Great comp and some really solid tones.

+1@Scott about the road/vegetation - the veg looks a bit like it's smeared instead of dry and crunchy.

One of the better BW shots I've seen from ya!

Thanks guys,

+1 @ brush/muddy a touch, wasn't sure what I wanted to do about it, so I didn't (yet). I may have lost it a bit on the skew/rotation correction ... the capture tones are very close together as is, they might need some induced help for separation.

Nit: Some sort of problem with the sky in the area a little above the road sign.

Odd and unique building, beautifully captured. The only suggestion I have is possibly more negative space around the building to capture more of the surroundings and a little more breathing room. By the way, you practice what you preach, technically perfect horizontal and vertical allignment. Learned a lot from that thread.

Hmmm.... More negative space an option? Might be on to something there, although I do like the graphic of this one, more negative space might make it even better.

Are you familiar with the work of Bernd and Hilla Becher, the famous German photographers who shot water towers and industrial facilities? This photo reminded me of their photography.

More negative space would make a different statement. To me the image reads as "tight and tidy" More space might read a bit more about isolation, emptiness. So Kent, "What is your intended message?"

Two points that I hoped to present for consideration.

1) Pillsbury ... hmmm, pondering any relation to THE Pillsbury
2) Roadside ... the way it used to be, loading one truck at a time

I like it. It has the look of a miniature scene to me which I'm sure wasn't your intention.
