Nicely done Eric. 3 and 4 stand out, but that's a neat bearscape too ~ Ron

Lovely set, Eric. Great close ups of the bear.

They work well in shades of gray Eric. No. 3 is my pick. Just wish the bear in foreground of the last was in-focus.

Eric, very nice black and white work on both the bears and eagles. Just a few gentle nits that I have also been given over the years here at FM. The eagle in the first would look a bit better if on the left side of the frame looking out rather than the right. The in flight eagel is a very nice shot with the wings giving a nice motion effect but it is a bit too centered...more room on the left or crop a bit of the right to allow it to fly out of the frame. Three is my favorite and 4 is fine as well. I agree that the last would be a bit stronger if the bear in the foreground was in focus but it is still a very nice image.
Thanks for sharing therse.

Ditto to what Eric said. First one has a tilted ocean - down on the left side.

Think they would all look better in color.

I agree with the eagle looking much better on the left side of the frame. Unfortunately, that image isn't really cropped and the background to the right of the eagle, is just ocean- no mountain views.

As for the last grizzly image, I have two of those shots- one with the foreground bear in focus with the background blurry, and the one above. I felt that this image was more appropriate because the mountains and clouds looked better in focus. Unfortunately, I wasn't in the best of shooting conditions to produce an image with everything in focus. I can however, try to copy the in focus bear and paste it into the image above...
