I have used long YN triggers for over six years and found them reliable for my needs and have also used YN565's and 568's in my studio and they worked great. I currently own RF-602's and a full set of YN622's along with the new 622TX. I use the YN622's to trigger a pair of Canon 580EX2 and a single 270EX2. I like the S1/S2 mode optical triggers built into the YN flashes and often used only one trigger in the studio to trigger all three lights, therefore I am considering selling the older 580EXII's for some newer YN units.
With the introduction of the YN600EX-RT flash units, do they essentially make the YN568 lineup obsolete? While I could trigger the YN600EX-RT's with the 622's it would make more sense to trigger the new 600's with the YN-E3-RT hot-shoe trigger.
The real question is:
- Does it make sense to still consider the 568's at this point or are the 600's considered the replacement?
Any thoughts or your experience would be appreciated!
