This was a tough shot to get. Candle light was the main light source and I didn't have a tripod at this exact moment. I had strobes with me but I didn't want to ruin the mood. The ol' D800 gave me everything she had and I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out. Thanks for looking. As always C&C is welcomed

Beautiful shot. The warm light from the candles creates a great mood for the couple which you captured well.

I like this, some fine tuning, like straightening the shot up a bit and a touch of color balancing might improve it a touch, anyway those are the things I would do if it were one of my images. What ISO were you at on this one?

Nice shot, but would be stronger as a black and white, IMO.

Lovely shot. I'd probably darken/reduce saturation of the foreground candle a bit as my eye keeps going to it.

This was shot at ISO 5000, 1/80 and f/1.4 at 85mm. I took your advice and tweaked the color balance a touch and straightened. I like it better. Thanks

I tried it in black and white but the couple blended in with the rest of the picture to much. Thanks for your opinion

Great shot for sure, but I'd second the motion to try it in B&W.

I thought BW might be awesome, but I'm digging the colors more now that you've tweaked the WB. I did a quick and dirty BW conversion in PS (used the "Lighter" preset, then a mild adjustment on the levels 20, 1.05, 255).

I'm not super crazy about this, but I think with the RAW file one could get a pretty gorgeous BW image too.

Nice photo! I hope you don't mind, I took some liberties with it. Let me know if you like it.

The original WB re-edit is great.

I like the first, uncropped one. It has more lights visible in the frame ... especially on the bottom
