This is a nice table listing the buffer capacity of most recent Nikon cameras.

It is pretty well laid out, so that you can compare the Raw, Raw+JPEG, 12 bit, 14 bit, Compressed, Uncompressed, JPEG, etc. capacities across models.
One thing that jumps out pretty quickly is that Nikon thinks us DX shooter don't do sports/wildlife/ aren't serious / don't need buffers! It is also clear how badly they borked the D7100 bufffer. 
I'll post a snapshot below, but it is probably best to click through to give them the traffic/ad revenue, in exchange for all of their hard work.
