I guess I should be surprised by the fact that everyone seems to recommend the (really heavy) pro f/2.8 lenses, but I'm not.
I'd get the 85 f/1.8G for portraits and leave the f/2.8 weight in someone else's bag for the zooms. My old Tamron 28-75 f/2.8 might not be optically up to something with that much resolution, but I'm voting for a simpler setup.
The 70-200 f/4 is a really nice lens also - you can use it very nicely for portraits and landscape and save about half the weight of the f/2.8. They're selling for attractive prices used, too.
I'd have a hard time owning a FX camera without a nifty-fifty prime. There are plenty of affordable choices here...
