p.1 #1 · p.1 #1 · Some shots through Tamron 150-600

As you already know I've been obviously excited with the form factor of this lens. This is going to be a lengthy post ( 19 images), so please bear with me. As always your C & C most welcome.

Great set. Hand held or with a tripod?

This is a beautifle set Prathab. Looking at the exif f8 appears better than anything wider so unless the light is low consider staying there. If possible, you might want to get lower for the small birds and yes you get quite dirty in the mud.

Thank you. Nothing complicated. I take into LR 4, crop, and push some sliders for WB, exposure, color, Sharpen and NR.

All hand held. I bought this lens especially to avoid tripods. I have heavier lenses for that

Thank you Morris! F8 is only 2/3rd of a stop from wide open and it does improve a little bit. But wide open is still usable. I know what you're saying about getting low. Didn't want to ruin my work clothes

Really nice work Prathab. The lens didn't hold you back at all. The first gull shot is pretty neat. The colour in the bg matches the colours in the feather perfectly. Well done.

Definitely the best quality set of images taken with the Tamron 150-600 I've seen.
Seems like the Nikon version of the lens performs better, although technique, expertise and capabilities are also very important

Thank you Ken! The color match was a happy coincidence.
