While on vacation we saw several large schools of fish riding waves . It was a cool sight. Unfortunately all I had was a 70-200 4L so I waded out as far as I felt comfortable lugging my camera into the ocean (not very comfortable at all actually

what one will do for "that" shot.).

Amazing! I never heard of such a thing. #1 is my pick because the fish are arranged so symmetrically.

This was taken at Topsail Island,NC . Its a remote lil island just outside of Wilmington,NC. I highly recommend vacationing here. Its been our summer vacation spot for close to 6 years now. Anytime we venture out somewhere else we are disappointed

#1 is a really neat shot.

Hard to make out exactly but they look like Blue Fish which school along the shoreline and tend to be pretty uniform size.
