I got a client that wants to print several of my older files at 9M wide. Any recomendations for a good way to upres the files to that size.

Am I reading this right, you want to print a 36 foot wide print?

I don't think anyone or any program will uprez a file to anywhere near 300 ppi.

But printing an image out at say 50 ppi should be doable as long as the viewing
distance is appropriate.

This is more of a billboard, side of a building type of print not a fine art print.

let us know what you find.

A little more info about the situation would be useful:
- What is the intended use? Billboard?
- Who will be responsible for producing the print - you or the client?

If this is something that the client does regularly, either itself or using its own contracted service, then the best thing would be to get in touch with them and find out what they need. It is possible that they can do any up-rezzing, if necessary, better than you can.

Billboards can go as low as 5 pixels per inch so a lot depends on usage and how close viewers are expected to get to the print.
