Very nice, Bob.
I love the shiny look and appealing processing.

Nice glow and toning. A bit too dark in the BG, esp left, for my taste.
That nit aside, beautiful image!!

Hi Bob, the processing really suits the subject, as Scott said a bit dark left back and under the right wheel

Cheers Ray

Thanks folks,

I was trying some different techniques re toning etc. but in answer to Herb, the last step is copying the image, apply a Gaussian blur filter, think this one at about 40, then immediately, must be immediately after, Edit->Fade Gaussian Blur-> Blend to Overlay, and adjust opacity to taste. Once you press OK that is committed and you cannot change fade amount etc.. If not satisfactory, delete the layer and start over. If preferred, you can leave opacity at 100% and apply a white/black layer mask to brush out/in as you think appropriate.

I've found the blur amount varies with image, and if toned prior, can introduce some subtle color artifacts in darker areas.

Credit to Lazlo who at one point in the past was kind enough to describe his superb workflow. I believe the above was the past step. You can experiment with high-pass sharpening just before or after...see how you like the results. Has a nice impact for color also: Warning - can be habit forming

Hope this helps,

Bob
