Hello All,

This is the old Davenport pier shot off the cliff areas. This is a 5 shot blend for dynamic range. This was a hard blend because the sun hadn't dipped into the horizon and there wasn't any clouds to diffuse the intense light. It took a while to get the sun area looking right to me.

Canon 5D MK II /w 16-35 F4L IS /w Lee 0.9 ND.

Very nicely done Jason. You did the blend well, I couldn't tell that it was blended.

Gold indeed. Beautiful palette. Love the soft clouds and the rolling waves lit by the sun, and the crispness of waves crests in the reflection of the sun.

Lovely shot Jason. When was it taken? I thought there will be lot of coastal fog during this time of the year.

thanks man. I was worried about the fog getting to thick but it cleared up right for the sunset.

this was taken last week. I always keep my eye on the radar and webcam outlooks. It does get foggy most of the time but you do get sunny breaks.

Thanks Jim! I took a ton of bracketed shots because I wasn't sure I'd be able to blend the sun nicely :P.
