OK, so here is the last one from my White Mountains trip. I met a nice photographer there who was kind enough to hide behind this tree and illuminate it with a flash light so this was a 28 seconds exposure without a flash, plus 2 with it on, for total of 30 seconds. The tree is leaning to the left.... nothing wrong with the horizon

Pretty cool with the light painting on that trip. This looks nice and works well. The Milky Way presents itself in this.

Hey Greg, a very nice image. I don't usually enjoy milky way shots as much as others, but I find this one quite interesting. I really dig the flashlight behind the tree to provide some depth and texture. The composition is perfect with the milky way looking like an extension of the tree itself. If I had one curious suggestion, I would personally make it a little more towards the blue side of white balance, just to see what that looked like. Otherwise, a nice image.
