What do you think?
Any suggestions - composition/processing/etc are welcome

I like it but must inquire - the real moon or your placement? Looks like some banding moving into the darker area toward top-right.

Nice sense of depth and perspective created by play of light and dark areas and good choice of monochrome - don't think color would be nearly as interesting..

Would you share the technique or just good fortune and clear plexi-glass? No Exif - X-E1?

Real moon Good fortune and clear enough plexi-glass
Still a little light outside... I think officially just after sunset.
X-E1, 23mm, f5.6 1/400

Technique wise - I tried some later shots, but with fully dark outside and light inside the plane, the reflections in the window were too much.

I also see the banding - that's with LR plugin upload full-size to google, then resize.
Let's see what happens with these two...

This one - same edit, is with LR plugin upload at 1000px to google.

The one with the frame is LR Export at 1000px, then direct upload to FM.

I like the shot and while I probably would have tried to include the moon as well, I feel overall there is to much sky. I think the shot works best cropped tighter toward the clouds. I also tried a crop with less clouds including the moon. Ultimately it's personal preference.

I do see the banding in the sky and I am not sure if it's caused by processing or? I reduced the highlights a little, added contrast and gave some additional definition to the clouds.

I actually like all the sky between the clouds and the moon - it gives me a greater sense of scope.

+1 for the cloud tweaks from Barbara.

Glad you didn't get a really bad window, John!

I like this shot quite a bit. Would look great printed large where the moon would be more obvious.

The clouds look a little blown out for me, but appear better in Oregon Gals edit.

Don't know if your interested posting a TIFF but we could really make it shine

Thanks for the feedback guys and gals.

Definitely like the clouds in Oregon Gal's edit as well.

Thought about cloning the moon to be lower on the horizon, but decided against it. I'll wait for another flight and opportunity.
