Up for sale is a beautiful 50mm Leica Summicron V3 for sale. A true, German made Leitz Wetzlar Summicron which are harder to come by these days than the Canadian variants. This is personally my favorite 50 'cron because of its different rendering (higher contrast) than other versions. I just received an old M6 that I bought back and had to buy the lens in a package deal. For 50mm I have an old Summilux that I use, although I prefer the Summicron.
This lens had a complete CLA back in 2012 through Leica Switzerland (where the M6 and Summicron just came back from). The lens is in really good shape, glass is clean with only minor dust visible (no fungus, scratches or other damage), focus is well dampened and smooth as it should be and aperture is snappy. There is a little oil on the blades as seen in the photos. The lens is 6-bit coded.
I am asking $925 for the lens which includes shipping within the ConUS and PayPal fees. Includes generic rear cap and generic front cap.
