Ernie, I think you did a great job with the clouds. They are exposed and processed well to bring out the dramatic lighting and shapes. But the ground part doesn't add any interest, and I don't think the clouds are enough to hold the composition. For the second one, I did some Googling to identify the LOTUS shrine and looked at the area in Earth. I wonder if that could have been more interesting if you had shot down the clear cut hillside leading to and in line with the promenade in front of the temple, and made it a real part of the composition. It would have been interesting to consider the statement made by the temple overlooked by the beautiful sky. As it is, the temple is just a distraction, which is a shame.
