Tell me about the lighting on that last image. Was there some sort of spot light on that section of the field? It's a very strong side (back) light and it looks very cool.
Don't know if this is breaking the rules, but how about SAF -- or Saturday Afternoon Football? Loved the light from the overcast almost rainy clouds. Loved being able to shoot one of our sons playing (#5 in blue) and liked keeping the ISO values in the 3 digit range all day...
